In order to foster a sense of community, when you register on this web site your name and village will be available to other LSR residents who are also registered on the web site.

Definitions

LSR shall refer to the Lone Star Ranch residential subdivision in Frisco, Texas.

HOA shall refer to The Homeowners Association of Lone Star Ranch, Inc., a non-profit corporation.

CC&R's shall refer to the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of the HOA, as recorded in the Denton County, Texas Registry of Deeds.

BOARD shall refer to the members of board of directors of the HOA, and its president and officers.

MANAGER shall refer to RTI/Community Management Associates, Inc., the company that operates the HOA, and their on-site representative, officers and employees.

NR's shall refer to LSR homeowners who volunteer and are elected or appointed by the BOARD to serve as Neighborhood Representatives according to the CC&R's.

COMMITTEES shall refer to LSR homeowners who volunteer and are appointed to serve on various committees chartered by the BOARD to perform various HOA functions, for example, the Social Committee, the Landscape Committee, the Communications Committee, and the Fitness Committee. The main website administrator is the chairman of the Communications Committee and shall be included in the definition of COMMITTEES.

OPERATORS shall refer to all of the persons and entities who jointly and severally administer the website and control, in part or in whole, content appearing on it: HOA, BOARD, MANAGER, NR's, and COMMITTEES.

No warranties

This website is provided “as is” without any representations or warranties, express or implied. The OPERATORS make no representations or warranties in relation to this website or the information and materials provided on this website.

Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing paragraph, the OPERATORS do not warrant that:

  1. this website will be constantly available, or available at all; or
  2. the information on this website is complete, true, accurate or non-misleading.

Nothing on this website constitutes, or is meant to constitute, advice of any kind. Except where noted, LSR residents may copy and post short passages for purposes of discussion, as long as the site or email group restricts access to LSR residents. Entire pages and documents may not be copied.

Reasonableness

By using this website, you agree that the exclusions, limitations of liability and indemnity obligations, and confidentiality requirements set forth in these Terms and Conditions of Use are reasonable.

If you do not think they are reasonable, you must not use this website.

Other parties

You accept that, as limited liability entities, the HOA and MANAGER have an interest in limiting the personal liability of their directors, officers and employees. You agree that you will not bring any claim personally against HOA's or MANAGER's board members, officers or employees in respect of any losses you suffer in connection with the website.

Without prejudice to the foregoing paragraph, you agree that the limitations of warranties and limitations of liabilities, release and indemnity provisions set out in these Terms and Conditions of Use will protect and are intended to benefit the HOA's and MANAGER's board members, officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries, successors, assigns and sub-contractors as well as HOA and MANAGER.

Unenforceable provisions

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Use is, or is found to be, unenforceable under applicable law, that will not affect the enforceability of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Use.
