In accordance with our governing documents, all landscaping and exterior modifications to your home must conform to the Design Guidelines, and if you are changing more than a couple of shrubs, you must seek approval from the Architecture Control Committee (ACC) before beginning your project. The Architectural Control Committee only meets every two weeks: please plan your project accordingly!

There are two ways to submit the details of your project to the ACC:

1. Complete the Lone Star Ranch Modification Application Form, print it out, sign it, and submit with a check for $50 to the address given on the form.
2. Log into your account at the Community Management Associates (CMA) web site (see how to register) and follow the instructions Submitting an Architectural Modification Application Online.

In either case, a check in the amount of $50 must be provided to The Homeowners Association of Lone Star Ranch, 5150 Beacon Hill Dr, Frisco, TX 75034 (for simple modifications the fee may be waived).

Please remember that you may be very familiar with your project, however the Architectural Control Committee is not.  Please be specific and detailed in the submission of your project to eliminate questions and unwanted delays in the processing of your submittals.

Please make sure you provide the following information:

• A completed Architectural Control Committee Modifications Form or CMA online form;
• A check in the amount of $50.00
• A plot plan showing the location of the house along with any other structures on your lot, and the proposed structure (including dimensions from the property line or other structures);
• A description of the project, including dimensions of the project;
• A complete materials list of the project, including paint and/or stain color;
• A picture or drawing of the intended project.

Incomplete required information will result in an automatic denial.

This information must be provided before your application will be submitted to the Architectural Control Committee for consideration.  Please note that the Architectural Control Committee will advise you of their decision within thirty (30) days after receipt of your completed application.  The Architectural Control Committee reserves the right to request any additional information it may need to make a final determination on your submittal.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation and compliance with the Restrictions that govern Lone Star Ranch.
